Purpose:

The A38 Bristol to Hengrove Metrobus Extension corridor as identified within the CRSTS SOBC runs from Central Bristol to Hengrove, Hartcliffe and Withywood in south Bristol. This will not include the section of the corridor currently being delivered by the Bedminster Green project. This will also not include any further measures along Hartcliffe Way or Creswick Road whilst the Hengrove Park junctions works are being carried out byothers.

 

The remaining scope of the original A38 SOBC corridor is to be the subject of this project. This will explore the extension of the Metrobus Route from the City of Bristol College on Whitchurch Lane to Withywood as follows: The Boulevard>William Jessop Way>Bishport Avenue>Four Acres>Sherrin Way.

 

This application is seeking award of £0.220m of CRSTS funds and develop a Full Business Case (FBC) for this Project, to allocate £4m for delivery (£1.7m – Local Contribution; £2.3m CRSTS); est.

AFC = £4.22m
