Delegated authority has been granted to the Combined Authority’s Chief Executive to take decisions on the Green Futures Grant Allocations in consultation with the Chief Executives of the Combined Authority’s constituent councils.

That funding totalling £51k is awarded in the following manner:-

a.     £42k to fund, and add value to, transitions activity delivered by the Unitary Authorities in the West of England with each provided with £10,500.

b.     £5k to fund evaluation and monitoring of the Green Futures fund.

c.      £4k to deliver an Impact focused Careers Conference for West of England Schools and Colleges.

Option 1 – We allocate funding to the Unitary Authorities to add value and expand the transitions support.

Option 2 – Spend the funding on other Careers Related activity

Option 3 - The Combined Authority to resource and deliver support itself.
