Purpose:
Delegated authority has been granted to the
Combined Authority’s Chief Executive to take decisions (in
consultation with the Chief Executives of the constituent councils
of the Combined Authority) on feasibility and development funding
applications relating to the Housing & Regeneration Enabling
Fund.
A feasibility and development funding application was submitted by
South Gloucestershire Council seeking an allocation of
£750,000 to build the feasibility and development capacity
within the organisation to create and develop a pipeline of
projects that will be brought forward to meet the regeneration and
place shaping needs of the area.
The Chief Executives of the constituent councils of the Combined
Authority were consulted on this proposal and were in agreement
with the decision.
Decision:
To approve the following Feasibility and
Development funding application:
Housing & Regeneration Enabling Fund - allocation of
£750,000 to South Gloucestershire Council to build the
feasibility and development capacity within the organisation to
create and develop a pipeline of projects that will be brought
forward to meet the regeneration and place shaping needs of the
area.
The Chief Executives of the constituent councils of the Combined
Authority were consulted on this proposal and were in agreement
with the decision.
