Business Grants (through the Low Carbon Challenge Fund) in
consultation with the Chief Executives of the West of England
unitary authorities.

sought funding to replace their existing fluorescent lighting with
LED, install solar PV panels on their roof, and replace their
vacuum press with a more efficient model.

Annual greenhouse gas emission savings: 9.8 tCO2e
Annual energy use savings: 41.2% on electricity use for the
lighting and vacuum press, and 29.6% offset through solar PV.
Annual energy cost savings: £3,068 on electricity bills
The proposal was assessed by officers as meeting the required
criteria in terms of value for money, deliverability and financial
viability.

To award £13,639.85 to Young &
Norgate Ltd in relation to their Green Business Grant application
